The Problem
Amid the national emergency of the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare organizations grappled with testing and treatment solutions to control the transmission rate. Hospitals needed to establish triage centers, drive-thru testing sites, and respond to the National Coronavirus Task Force’s call for testing centers in retail parking lots. BlueAlly faced the task of ensuring business continuity for major healthcare providers, focusing on their mobile networks.
The BlueAlly Solution
A swift, adaptable design was recommended for deployment amid supply chain challenges caused by the pandemic. Emphasizing readily available hardware, BlueAlly prioritized mobility in the network solution. The team efficiently fulfilled requirements, initiating delivery within two weeks from initial discussion to implementation. Engineers worked through the weekend to assemble and configure the mobile healthcare solution, enabling its operation from any location, with hospital integration the following day.
The Results
Twenty-seven mobile Covid-19 testing sites were made fully operational within the states where the healthcare provider offers care. These testing sites played a significant role, assisting in managing the spread of the pandemic.
